Beginning Friday, February 8th, students will be challenged to read 7000 books in this year's reading incentive program. The theme for this year's reading program is "Oh the Places You'll Go When You Read a Book, " based on the Dr. Seuss book. Kindergarten and first grade students must read (or be read to) 3 books. Second grade students must read 3 short books or 1 chapter book. Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 are required to read 1 chapter book. When this is accomplished student’s will receive a luggage tag to filled out showing the place they traveled while reading the book. Luggage tags will begin to pop up all over the school so that students can see how many books they are reading.
